Mathematics

In Mathematics, with Miss Atkinson, we have been learning about coordinates.  We have been practisting going 'along the corridor' and 'up or down the stairs', this has helped us remember the order to plot or read the coordinates.  Check out the Class 4 gallery on:   to see pictures of us playing Battleships in class!

WW2 Experince Day 

We had an excellent WW2 Day at school! ✨
The children explored why the war broke out, took part in powerful role play experiencing an air raid and evacuation, and got hands-on by creating their own Anderson shelters. In the afternoon, everyone had an amazing time in a Lindy Hop dance workshop, learning popular dances from the era and bringing history to life. 💃🕺

It’s been a fantastic and engaging way to start exploring our Spring term topic, with lots of learning, creativity and enthusiasm throughout the day. Well done to all involved! 🌟

Computing

In Computing, the Class 4 pupils are looking at Vector Drawings.  Look at the wrapping paper they have created by insert a circle; copying and pasting the circle; changing the colours of the cirlces; grouping them; copying the group and then pasting this over and over again.  The children really enjoyed the lesson and are looking forward to creating more vector drawings in the coming weeks.
