Lower School 2026 - 2027
Welcome to our lower school class page, our Lower School is made up of two classes.
Class 1 includes our Reception and Year 1 children and is taught by Miss Johnson each day.
Class 2 is our Year 2 class and is taught by Miss Atkinson and Miss Sowerby, who job-share the class.
Our Lower School provides a nurturing and supportive environment where children learn together, develop their independence and build strong relationships with their peers and teachers.
In Class 1 we have a selection of continuous provision areas for pupils to explore, including our cosy corner, woodwork bench, dressing up area, home corner, craft table and outdoor area. In Class 2 pupils are able to do more focused learning in a quiet and calm space. As the lower school we spend some afternoons doing Topic and Science in our shared classroom space together.
