Lower School Topic Planning
Welcome to our Lower School topic planning page.
Here you can find out about the exciting topics and themes that our children will be exploring each half term. Our Lower School brings together Reception, Year 1 and Year 2, giving children wonderful opportunities to learn together, share ideas and develop their understanding of the world around them.
Each half term, we will share our topic overview, along with any useful supporting resources, activities and information to help families see what their children are learning in school and, where they wish, continue the learning at home.
Our topics are carefully chosen to spark children's curiosity, imagination and love of learning, whilst making links across different areas of the curriculum. We also look for opportunities to connect our learning to our local community, our school values and the wider world.
