Lubna and Pebble

Year 1 have been looking at the story of Lubna and Pebble in English. It is a story of a little girl who escapes war and arrives somewhere new witth no friends. She decides to draw a smile on a pebble and make it a cosy home. The pebble then becomes her best friend. Year 1 all chose their own pebble, gave it a smile, a name and made it a home. They have used some fantastic adjectives and sentences to describe their pebbles and written some really interesting letters and leaflets.
