Having fun creating an outdoor rainforest to show our learning of the different layers that create a rainforest and which animals live in the different layers.
This term our topic is based around the book 'Shackleton's Journey'; a cross-curricular exploration of the famous explorer and his expedition to Antarctica. What a fantastic afternoon we had learning more about India; our topic this term. Class 3 were very lucky to have a talk from Jessie Oddy, who runs a local charity 'Curry Aid' which raises money to support orphanages in India. We were able to learn a lot more about India culture and traditions from our special guest and Mrs Taylor even got the chance to model! I was particularly impressed with the respectful and mature questions written by Class 3, well done everyone!

For our World Book Day this year we have been explored the work of William Shakespeare. In Class 3, we have been learning about ‘The Tempest’, we have had a fantastic day creating freeze frame scenes, writing a diary entry and creating keyhole art work.
