What a wonderful World Book Day!

We shared lots of different books.

We talked about fiction and Non- fiction texts.

The Y6 children asked us questions.

We chatted about our reasons for choosing a book.

We used 'because' to give reasons for our choices.

We chose our favourite book.

Some of liked the same book.

We read 'A Chair for Baby Bear'.

We designed our own 'fantasy' chairs!

We worked together in groups.

We decorated real class chairs.

We thought about what Baby Bear would like.

We stuck and tied on the decorations.

That big blue cushion looks cosy!

London's Burning

Class 1 learnt the song 'London's Burning'. We split into two groups and sang it in 'the round'. We sang it as we traipsed around trying to get away from the fire!
